Hello!
I'm Lynn Forder, a self taught Surface Designer + Illustrator originally from Edinburgh.

I'm now based just across the water in Fife where I work from my home studio creating patterns and designs for a range of fabric and paper products.
STYLE
I prefer a minimalist illustration style and tend to use a lot of smooth curves and clean linework whilst still trying to maintain that organic, natural form.

With solid colours and not much texture I feel this brings a sense of elegance and clarity to each piece of work.
PROCESS
My work begins with either a pencil sketch or a digital drawing using a graphics tablet.
​
I then move over to the computer to complete the artwork using vector based software where I tidy things up and play around with colour and scale.
